Feng Shui is part of every house cleansing we perform. We use Feng Shui principles alongside energetic assessment and clearing to understand how the home, the people living there, and the surrounding environment interact.

We also offer stand-alone Feng Shui consultations. We use Feng Shui to explore the relationship between you and your environment and identify ways your home can better support balance, harmony, and well-being.

What We Do With Feng Shui

We look at the home as more than a collection of rooms. We consider how energy moves through the property, how the home relates to the people living there, and where there may be areas of stagnation, imbalance, or energetic stress.

Depending on the property, we may consider orientation, entrances, room placement, environmental influences, the history of the home, and the energetic relationship between the occupants and their space.

How We Use Feng Shui in a House Cleansing

Our approach begins with the property and the people who live there. We assess the home's energy, its history, environmental influences, predecessor energy, and other factors that may be affecting the space.

We then incorporate relevant Feng Shui principles into the clearing rather than treating Feng Shui as a separate service. When appropriate, we may also use BaZi, compass directions, dowsing and other energetic assessment methods to give us a more complete understanding of the property.

The goal isn't to make your home conform to a set of Feng Shui rules. The goal is to help your home support you.

Feng Shui and dowsing are integral parts of our approach to house cleansing and energy clearing.

Sharon Sinclair has completed training through BTB Feng Shui, the Lotus Institute, and Interior Alignment®. She brings this knowledge into the energetic assessment of homes, land, and other properties rather than offering Feng Shui as a separate stand-alone consultation.

Dowsing is another important part of our work. We use it to help assess energetic patterns and influences within a property and to guide the clearing process.

House Cleansings is a member of the International Feng Shui Guild and the International Society of Dowsers, reflecting our ongoing connection with professional communities related to the methods we use.

What is Feng Shui house cleansing?

Feng Shui house cleansing combines energy clearing with Feng Shui principles to help create a more balanced and supportive relationship between you and your home. We use Feng Shui as part of a broader energetic assessment that may also include dowsing, property history, environmental influences, and predecessor energy.

Do you offer Feng Shui consultations?

We do not offer stand-alone Feng Shui consultations. Feng Shui is incorporated into our house cleansing and energy clearing services, allowing us to consider both the energetic condition of the property and how the home supports the people living there.

How do you use Feng Shui during a house cleansing?

We may look at the orientation of the home, entrances, movement of energy through the space, room relationships, environmental influences, and the connection between the occupants and the property. We then use those observations alongside our other assessment and clearing methods.

Can Feng Shui help if my house just doesn't feel right?

Feng Shui can provide another way of examining why a home feels uncomfortable, stagnant, or out of balance. Sometimes the issue involves the flow of the space; other times our assessment points toward predecessor energy, environmental influences, property history, or other energetic factors.

Do I need to rearrange my furniture or redecorate my home?

Usually, no. Our work is not focused on redecorating your home or giving you a long list of Feng Shui rules to follow. If we identify a simple physical adjustment that could better support the space, we may recommend it, but our primary work is energetic assessment and clearing.

Do you use BaZi with Feng Shui?

When appropriate, we may use BaZi as an additional way of understanding the relationship between the occupants, the property, and timing. It is one of several tools available to us and is not required for every house cleansing.

Can Feng Shui be used with a remote house cleansing?

Yes. Feng Shui principles can be incorporated into a remote house cleansing using information about the property, its orientation and layout, along with our remote assessment and dowsing methods. You do not need to live in Oregon for us to work with your property.
