Hello, I’m Sharon, the founder of House Cleansings.
From a very young age, I could sense that spaces carry energy—sometimes light and uplifting, other times heavy and unsettling. Growing up with both Cherokee and Celtic ancestry, I was surrounded by traditions that honored the land, the spirit world, and the importance of harmony between people and place. These teachings shaped the path that would later become my life’s work.
Over the years, I’ve trained extensively in energy medicine, Feng Shui, geomancy, shamanic practices, Reiki, hypnotherapy, and sound healing. My studies include certifications with the Lotus Institute of Feng Shui, the American Society of Dowsers, and advanced training in both modern and ancestral approaches to energy clearing.
But beyond the tools and trainings, this work is about listening deeply—to the stories of the home, to the ancestors who came before, and to the subtle shifts that tell us when harmony has returned. I use a blend of sacred tools—such as dowsing rods, crystals, herbs, sound, and ritual—to release stagnant energy, guide lingering spirits to peace, and restore balance within the walls of a home.
Clients often describe the result as a sense of lightness, clarity, and peace—like their home has finally become theirs. For me, the most rewarding part is witnessing that shift: when a house stops carrying the weight of the past and begins to truly support the people living there now.

Larry also brings his creative direction, marketing, and real estate expertise to our practice—helping us connect more deeply with clients, partners, and communities.
Larry brings over 40 years of experience working with energy, healing, and transformation. A student, teacher, and practitioner of alternative healing methods since the 1970s, his studies include shamanism, the Black Hat sect of Bon Buddhism, hands-on healing, Cranial Sacral therapy, and other energy modalities.
Beyond his healing path, Larry has also built a successful career as a creative director, designer, and marketing executive—leading teams, launching campaigns, and producing memorable events and experiences for major companies. This unique background allows him to bridge the spiritual and practical, helping our business grow while holding sacred space for clients.
He also brings his gift of humor, presence, and storytelling—our “Court Jester” who keeps our work joyful. When he’s not supporting cleansings, Larry is a licensed real estate broker in Portland, OR. By blending healing wisdom with strategic creativity and real estate insight, Larry helps us weave spiritual transformation into spaces—and into the lives and homes of the people who need it most.

Our Process:
How a House Cleansing Works
Every home has its own history, its own “memory.” Over time, energy from previous occupants, difficult events, or natural earth patterns can leave a lingering presence. My role is to gently clear these imprints so your home feels lighter, more balanced, and fully your own.
Here’s how the process works:
1. Discovery
We begin with a conversation about your home and what you’ve been experiencing. This may include feelings of heaviness, tension, unexplained disturbances, or simply a sense that something is “off.” Listening deeply is the first step to understanding what your space truly needs.
2. Assessment
Using time-honored tools such as dowsing rods, pendulums, and the Lecher antenna, I identify areas where energy is stagnant or disrupted. This helps reveal predecessor energy, unresolved spirit presence, or stress lines within the land itself.
3. Dowsing
Have you ever wondered how to communicate with your home's energy? We use a technique called dowsing. Dowsing is a mystical art, bridging the gap between the physical and spiritual realms. dowsing serves as a spiritual compass, guiding individuals to detect energetic imbalances and hidden spirits. Holding our dowsing rod—or pendulum in hand—we walk through the house or hover over a map, sensing the vibrations of different energies. The rod moves, almost like it has a mind of its own, pointing us to areas heavy with lingering energies.
This method isn’t just about finding negative spots. It’s also a way to invite positive energies to flourish. Dowsing for us feels like tuning into a radio station, adjusting the dial to find our family's spirit melody. The process grounds us, allowing us to feel more connected with the surroundings.
4. Cleansing & Harmonizing
Once we’ve located the sources, I work with a variety of practices to release and rebalance the energy. These may include:
