House Cleansings is led by Sharon Sinclair and Larry Hitchcock, who bring more than 40 years of combined experience in Feng Shui, dowsing, energetic assessment, land evaluation, and spiritual house cleansing.

Sharon's foundation in this work began through knowledge passed down by her mother and grandmother and was later expanded through formal training in BTB Feng Shui, the Lotus Institute, Interior Alignment®, hypnotherapy, earth energy healing, and advanced energetic assessment and dowsing methods.

Together, Sharon and Larry have assessed hundreds of homes and properties throughout the United States and internationally. Approximately 60% of their work is conducted remotely, helping homeowners identify and address influences that may contribute to a home feeling heavy, unsettled, or simply different than before.

Sharon Sinclair combines more than 30 years of professional experience with a foundation of family-taught energetic traditions passed down through her mother and grandmother. Her work has been further developed through formal study & training in Feng Shui, Interior Alignment®, hypnotherapy, dowsing, earth energy healing, and spiritual assessment training.

Larry Hitchcock, known as The Architect, provides the structural and analytical perspective that helps support each assessment and clearing. His background in systems design, spatial engineering, and large-scale project leadership helps ensure that energetic insights are considered alongside the physical realities of the home and property.

​Sharon provides intuitive energetic assessment and pattern recognition. Larry provides structural, environmental, and spatial analysis. Together, they offer a balanced approach that considers both the energetic and physical influences affecting a home or property.
Our Path to This Work
Neither of us came to this work casually. Over decades of experience, we have lived, worked, and traveled in a wide variety of environments, observing how homes, land, and buildings can profoundly influence the people who live within them.

Through hundreds of property assessments, we began noticing recurring patterns. Homes with very different histories often shared similar challenges, including feelings of heaviness, discomfort, disruption, unexplained tension, or a sense that something simply did not feel right. These repeated observations led Sharon to develop the assessment approach we continue to use today.

House Cleansings was created from a desire to help homeowners better understand the relationship between people, place, and property history. Rather than relying on fear-based explanations or one-size-fits-all solutions, we focus on careful assessment, respectful investigation, and practical guidance tailored to each home.
At the heart of our work is a belief that every property has a history and every home deserves to feel supportive, balanced, and aligned with the people who live there.

Sharon Sinclair is the founder and lead practitioner of House Cleansings, bringing more than 30 years of professional experience to the assessment of homes, land, and environmental influences that affect how a property feels and functions.

Her foundation in this work began with knowledge passed down through her mother and grandmother, combined with a lifelong sensitivity to the relationship between people, place, and the natural environment. Over the decades, this foundation was expanded through formal study in Feng Shui, dowsing, Interior Alignment®, hypnotherapy, earth energy healing, and energetic assessment methodologies.

Throughout her career, Sharon has assessed hundreds of homes and properties, helping homeowners identify predecessor influences, land-based patterns, environmental stressors, and energetic conditions that may contribute to a home feeling heavy, unsettled, or out of balance.
​
Sharon's personal journey was also shaped by three Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), which deepened her awareness of the connection between the physical and non-physical aspects of life. These experiences reinforced an intuitive perspective that she integrates with decades of practical study, professional training, and real-world experience.

Drawing on both her Native American heritage and years of professional practice, Sharon approaches each property with respect for the history of the land, the experiences of the people who live there, and the unique story each home carries.

Her work focuses on helping homeowners better understand the influences affecting their homes and restoring a greater sense of balance, comfort, and harmony within the spaces where they live, both in-person and through remote assessments.

Larry Hitchcock — Co-Practitioner & "The Architect"
Larry Hitchcock is the structural and analytical co-practitioner at House Cleansings. Known as "The Architect," he ensures that energetic insights are grounded, verified, and stabilized within the physical reality of a property. Larry brings decades of experience working at the intersection of systems thinking, environmental design, and large-scale spatial experiences.
At age 37, Larry became a Vice President at Walt Disney Imagineering, where he was responsible for translating complex creative visions into precise, functional executions. His career also includes designing and producing world-class stages and immersive environments for legendary artists such as The Rolling Stones and Reba McEntire. This background gives Larry an exceptional ability to see how structure, flow, and spatial design profoundly influence the human experience.
This background gave Larry a deep understanding of how structure, flow, design, and environment influence the way people experience a space. Today, he applies that same perspective when assessing homes and properties.

In addition to his design and leadership experience, Larry is a former licensed massage therapist and energy bodyworker. This training contributed to his understanding of balance, stress patterns, and the relationship between physical environments and human well-being.

Over the years, Larry has participated in hundreds of property assessments, helping homeowners identify environmental influences, structural considerations, geopathic stress patterns, and other factors that may affect how a home feels and functions.

We do this work because we have seen, again and again, how profoundly a home can affect the lives of those within it. A house is never just a structure; it is a living environment that holds memory, emotion, and history—often reflecting and amplifying the experiences of its occupants.
Over thirty years of practice, we have witnessed how unresolved energetic influences—from geopathic stress to predecessor energy—can contribute to discomfort, stagnation, and emotional strain. We have also seen the profound relief and clarity that emerge when these influences are addressed with care, respect, and precision.
Our motivation comes from a deep respect for both people and place. We believe that homes and land deserve to be listened to, not forced into change. Every property has its own story, and our role as practitioners is to help restore balance in a way that honors the land, the architecture, and the lives unfolding there.
